Open Season Celebration – June 5th trip

Kick off the year in Caamano Sound, a fishing hot spot just south of Prince Rupert. Caamano Sound is one of the early feeding stops on BC's Central Coast for salmon migrating downward from the Queen Charlottes. Its protected waters produce vast numbers of Spring Salmon starting in late May. With approximately 20 hours of sunlight throughout the month of June, you'll have every opportunity to reel in some of the biggest fish of the season.

Nearing the end of June, the Ocean Explorer makes its journey down the coast to Hakai Pass, an inlet just north of Port Hardy. Here, we set up anchor in a private bay surrounded by a rich network of inlets, coves and channels, where our guides have spent several seasons mapping out numerous nearby honey holes.
